Team Consulting & Facilitation

Building High Functioning & Empathetic Teams

You want to make sure your team has the mindset to begin a journey together. Often, this begins with challenging myths about personality, relationships and teamwork. When we see where we are closed to new possibilities, we begin to challenge our assumptions and build the trust that enables us to be authentic with one-another.

Authenticity begins with values and vision - for ourselves, our team and our organization. When we are authentic we can define our strengths together and individually, so we can live out our roles from these strengths. We want to be sure they have shared expectations on how to engage as a team, and we practice our improved process often.

We have a model for conflict resolution that is both empathetic, honest, and just. And we hold one-another accountable through regular practices in pairs and as a team.

The Process and its core components:

  1. Open Mindset

  2. Trust and Vulnerability

  3. Shared Understanding of Strengths and Values

  4. Vision and Expectations (and hidden commitments that stand in the way)

  5. Commitment to a Conflict Resolution Process

  6. Accountability

My work is guided by years of in-depth strategic consulting, individual and group coaching, and facilitation excellence. I have collaborated to build high functioning leadership teams in education, healthcare, non-profit, technology and the start-up space.

Experiences / Retreats

I design and lead high-impact strategies and experiences for leading corporations and non-profits across the globe. Success always comes down to stakeholder engagement prior to the event and ensuring the agenda matches the outcome goals identified by the participants.

From multi-day strategic planning sessions for leadership teams in Dubai, to strategic vision retreats for 30 CEOs in Atlanta, I have been a master facilitator for nearly 15 years. I’ve led strategic deep-dives for leadership teams that have won the MacArthur Foundation $100M grant and the non-profit nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize.
